Bokeh Party & Random Rose

Oh what fun. I love looking at all the other entries! This is my second attempt at a bokeh shot!

I love bokeh. I can't wait to learn how to do it better though!

Oh and this I took just last weekend in my backyard. I was pleasantly surprised to see a pretty pink rose when letting Roxy out. I haven't checked but I'm pretty sure with the freezing temperatures we've gotten this week that it is now dead. Though I'm no plant expert. It could be thriving...

Oh Livi- You're ONE!

My sweet niece Olivia, you are one year old today. 

You were a true miracle baby, and I'm so thankful you are here in my life.

You're such a sweetheart.

But girl, can you be sassy! Don't worry, it's oh so cute :)

You are brilliant, beautiful, happy, and voiceful.

And you are nearly running already!


I can not believe you are a whole year old.

You probably won't ever read this but I love you to pieces,

"Zoom Zoom" in NYC

This is a photo I took while in NYC this past September. When I saw Trendy Treehouse's theme for this week I knew I wanted to participate and the exact picture I wanted to use. The cab drivers are absolutely crazy and fast! And just look at all the people zooming by.
So I think it fits the theme perfectly!

This was my second choice because I had to zoom zoom my camera (which at the time had 20x zoom) to get this picture while standing on the Brooklyn Bridge.

Photo Shoot

This is my best friend, her hubby, and their cute pug. She asked me to snap a few photos for their Christmas cards. I was happy to put my camera to good use. I'm not a professional so please be nice :) These were just for fun!
