Snow Fail

At least for now. We were supposed to get snow today. We got a nasty mix of who knows what instead. Maybe it will actually snow this evening? We'll see. I had plans to take some pretty pictures of the snow to break out the cam from its bag so I was a little disappointed. But I did manage to get a few 'okay' shots. And that made me happy enough for now :)

Adjusted levels. Cropped. Ran Paint the Moon's Jubilee action. Up'd the saturation just a tad. Sharpened and reduced noice.
Snow? More like ice and rain!

Ah I decided to turn the camera around. Please keep in mind I just got off work and had not brushed up at all! And just excuse the goofy expression all together I don't know what I was doing.


Also! I will soon have a new lens that I'm super excited about. I can't wait to play around with it!

Major Slacker

I have been such a blog slacker this week! I can't believe it's been so long since my last post. I've been a little pre-occupied with life and non-motivated but I'll be back in action this week! I really haven't picked up my camera until today. I gave Roxy a bath and thought to get picture with her scruffy hair everywhere.


She HATES baths and can sense when I'm going to give her one, I have no idea how. She will run in another room and hide.

Afterwards she gets so crazy. She flops around on the rug and runs around the house like a wild animal. This is the part shes loves.


Then I gave her a nice brush and hair cut. She sits so still for me that it's actually quite relaxing to do.

She knew she was a pretty girl in this picture!

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend, I know I did even though we didn't do too much! We did get a new fridge. So we now have an ice machine and water line, hello 2011! haha. Be back shortly!

National Harbor & Award

Maybe you're tired of seeing Christmas trees? I just had to show you all this one. It's at a neat place in our area called the National Harbor. The place is filled shops, restaurants, bars, hotels, and entertainment. And it's located on a marina. We went there for Hub's Aunts 60th birthday (specifically to McCormick & Schmick's!) It was a surprise dinner for her, and a really great time. We were late though and literally had to sneak behind her (they were stopped looking at the tree). Hub was telling me to hurry up but I couldn't pass up the beautiful view, my camera was begging me. So while walking swiftly I snapped a shot. It was so gorgeous with the sun setting on the water as the background. I wish I could have played around longer but dinner was calling our names!



This is one I took after dinner. It's such an awesome place!

I Heart Faces: Best Face of 2010
